Don’t pay commission fees

Proship gets paid for our services directly by our clients, the corporations, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, casinos and other entertainment venues. Unlike some agents, we do not take commission fees, audition fees, or registration fees from the performers we hire.

Support for you

Proship supports you from audition to deployment. We vet performers, work with top employers, and negotiate strong conditions. Our team handles visas, medical exams, contracts, and travel paperwork, plus 24/7 global emergency support.

We began sourcing musicians for the cruise ship industry in 1987. Since then we have booked over 20,000 contracts for entertainers all around the world. Meet the team

Thomas Monaher

BOOKING AGENT

Thomas was born in Cork City Ireland. He was initially a trombonist, having played in numerous ensembles including Principal trombonist with the Cork Youth Orchestra. He then took to the electric bass performing alongside the likes of jazz trumpeter Bobby Shew with the Cork School of Music Big Band. He has completed several contracts on cruise ships as a showband bassist and as part of a lounge trio. Thomas attended John Molson School of Business pursuing a graduate diploma and brings to Proship a wealth of varied musical experiences combined with a B.A. in political Science.

Joel Doucet

VP OF OPERATIONS

Joel comes all the way from the shores of northern New-Brunswick and has been based in Montreal since 2007. He studied guitar performance at Grant MacEwan in Edmonton, AB with Bobby Cairns and has been working with artists and bands as a performer and session musician ever since. With over 12 years of experience working on cruise ships as an orchestra musician and Music Manager, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Proship team.

Serina Grosz

CONTRACTING COORDINATOR

Serina was born in Montreal, Quebec. Her educational background includes a Diploma in Social Science and a Certification in Travel and Tourism. She began her career in the Hospitality industry as a Administrative Manager for a hotel in the Eastern Townships. Her experience in the Tourism industry has provided Serina with a unique background and insight which allows her to excel in her current position as Contracting Coordinator. The contracting department supports thousands of entertainers each year and plays a key role in ensuring an unmatched experience for both our entertainers as well as our clients.

    The showband musician or orchestra musician is a member of the show orchestra performing and supporting all main stage performances. If you play piano, bass, drums, guitar, trumpet, sax, or trombone and can sight-read and improvise we have opportunities for you.
